Hello, I'm Daniel. I am an editor, designer, writer and journalist. 

I am the Editor of talker.

I was the Director of Content at The New York Daily News. I oversaw and managed the homepage, social media, interactive, photo gallery and design teams at The News. Prior to that role I was Head of Production and Night Editor at New York's Hometown Paper. 

I was also a co-founder of Slant and worked as a Senior Visual Designer for The Daily, the first news publication built exclusively for tablets.

I am a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and have a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Abilene Christian University. While at ACU, I was Editor in Chief of the student newspaper The Optimist.
